
AFC Sudbury Women Confirm Retained List Ahead of 2026/27 Campaign
AFC Sudbury Women can today confirm the club's retained list ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Following last season's relegation, preparations for the new campaign are already well underway, with work continuing behind the scenes as the club looks ahead to an exciting new chapter.
We are delighted to confirm that the following first-team players will remain at the club for the 2026/27 season:
Staying with the Club
- Lucy Loomes
- Stacey Roper
- Sheryce Slater
- Jess Allen
- Olivia Clennell
- Lina Nagib
Discussions remain ongoing with a number of senior players throughout pre-season, and we will update supporters as soon as there is further confirmation.
We are also pleased to confirm that the following Academy players will continue their development with the club:

- Emily Newcomb
- Ruby Clark
- Alana Smith
- Sophie Kettle
The club can also confirm that Sophie Jeffery, Jade Barrett, Georgie Morton and Megan Edwards will depart AFC Sudbury this summer.

Meanwhile, Kaci-Jai Bonwick returns to her parent club following the conclusion of her loan spell. We'd like to thank Kaci for her efforts during her time with us and wish her every success for the future.
