Great Waldingfield Garages have the honour of sponsoring AFC's first game of 2016 when Bury Town are the visitors to The Wardale Williams Stadium in the A134 Derby.
It is actually a number of years since the two teams met in league action although they have met in both the Ryman League Cup and the Suffolk Premier Cup.
The last time they met in league action was back in season 2009/10 in the Zamaretto Southern League Midland Division and the last time in the Ryman North was season 2007/08.
Bury are likely to have three ex-AFC players in their squad in Ollie Hughes, Ollie Canfer and D'arcy D'eath, while AFC have five ex-Blues in theirs, Craig Parker, Marcus Garnham, Liam Wales, Ross Bailey and loanee at both clubs Joe Maybanks.
AFC go into the game in good form, whilst the visitors have struggled in recent weeks, but AFC Manager Jamie Godbold knows that all that will go out of the window in this derby fixture. Craig Parker will hope to add to his twenty goal tally so far this season and Luke Callander add to his eighteen.
With Cray Wanderers V Thurrock postponed today AFC have a chance to go top with any points from today's match.
Today's match is kindly sponsored by Great Waldingfield Garages and we thank them for the excellent support. At the end of todays match they will pick the MOTM and present him with a bottle.
The KIng's Marsh Suite will be open early at the ground so that spectators can see the West Ham United v Liverpool game on the big screens.
