AFC return to The Wardale Williams Stadium for their first home game since the 17th November when the won against Thamesmead Town. Between now and then their three games on the road at Wroxham, Waltham Abbey and Harlow Town have all resulted in victories and sustained their place in the play off places in Ryman North.
Coming to King's Marsh are a team that AFC have not crossed swords with previously, Phoenix Sports. They won promotion last season and have acquitted themselves well at the higher level. They currently sit in eighth place in the table with thirty-seven points from the twenty-five games played.
AFC Manager Jamie Godbold will not be back in the dug out this weekend still being away on FA duties as he was for last weeks trip to Essex.
He will have a full squad to chose from and will be hoping his two leading scorers, Luke Callander and Craig Parker, both on sixteen goals apiece, can keep scoring to boost the club's goal difference.
Before the game the clubhouse will be open early for those who wish to see the BT Sports Premier League game between Norwich City and Everton that kicks off at 12.45pm. The bar and kitchen will be open.
The game is being sponsored by Dyslexic Untied FC and we thank them for their sponsorship.
