AFC fresh from a Sunday victory go again just forty-eight hours later when they entertain Brightlingsea Regent, the third meeting of the season.
The Essex side in August won at The Wardale Williams Stadium in the Ryman League Cup while in September the two sides drew at North Road in the league.
Manager Jamie Godbold will include in his squad new signing George Clarke, signed on Ryman forms from the opposition on Monday, although he played for AFC Reserves in the Thurlow Nunn League on Friday with the manager.
Sam Clarke and James Baker are both likely to be back in contention after starting on the bench on Sunday, while Craig Parker will be wanting to keep his goal scoring streak going.
Brightlingsea will probably have ex-AFC goalkeeper Ollie Bowles, who decided to return to his parent club Concord Rangers and then go to the opposition shortly afterwards, in their side. Another former AFC man Terry Rymer has recently rejoined his old club and should play in the game.
Stories about AFC Sudbury are included in a new book on sale at the ground.
They are featured in Scoop, a collection of tales and stories across four decades written by sports journalist Nick Garnham.
The book contains a whole host of stories featuring clubs and sportsmen from Suffolk and Essex that were covered by Nick while working for the East Anglian Daily Times, Ipswich Star and Green ‘Un.
The book will be on sale in the clubhouse before and after the game.
