AFC Lose On Flying Visit

The AFC squad made their trip from Suffolk via Gatwick to Belfast for this pre-season fixture and on arrival were greeted by four intrepid supporters who made the journey via Dublin.

AFC went behind from the penalty spot and were two down a short time afterwards both scored by Jordan Stewart. James Baker pulled a goal back for Sudbury volleying home from a Lee Flynn corner. Danny McGee added a third goal for the home side before the half time interval.

Ayrton Coley was replaced a short time into the half when Jordan Blackwell took over and it was he who scored following a Baker pass. Jack Guyton took over from Ryan Henshaw but there was no more score in the game.
