Better late than never

Apologies for the late arrival of this vital update but straight from the final whistle after Saturday's evenly matched but unspectacular F.A Cup tie I had to hot foot it down to Devon, only returning mere hours ago, but here it is now.
There was definitely precious little of the F.A Cup's famous 'magic' on show on Saturday but it was an evenly contested duel for sure and tonight when we go in the replay the deadlock will have to be broken at some point.
A positive result we did get during the week was the U18's victory over Histon meaning we have a date away at Mildenhall in the next round in a week or two's time.

Onto the meat of the matter now, or if you are vegetarian, let's call it the artichoke.

Tuesday 21st Sep
The first team travel to Stowmarket Town in the F.A Cup 2 Qualifying Round Replay. Where we to win tonight then we would face Cheshunt at home on the 2nd October in the following round. 7:45pm KO tonight.

and at the same time...

The Ressies are at home to Halstead Town with a similar 7:45pm KO.. two local derbies on the same night at the same time..hardly fair.

Saturday 25th Sep
The first team travel South down to Romford in Isthmian League Action with a 3pm KO. Will it be another win on the road for the Yellows?

while...

The Reserves host Hackney Wick back here at the MEL Group Stadium with a 3pm KO

and also

We are hosting Sudbury Sports who are playing West Bergholt with a 12:30pm KO

Sunday 26th Sep
Our Women's First Team are at home to Barking with a 2pm KO

I am off on holiday for a while so this is going to be my last update until mid October, so in the meantime, keep getting behind your Yellows! and i'll see you in a few weeks with a bit more of a tan than I have right now. I'll be following events at home keenly even if I won't be in attendance myself.
