AFC Sudbury return to The MEL Group Stadium today when Aveley are the visitors in the Bostik North League.
Still celebrating from their 3-2 derby win at Bury Town on New Year’s Day, AFC Sudbury will be looking to extend their current win streak from four to five games this afternoon. After a very, very slow start in front of the goal this season, AFC Sudbury have now been scoring for fun with 18 goals in their last six matches, which is matched only by league leaders Bowers & Pitsea.
Aveley, who currently sit in 5th spot in the league, just one place above AFC, have only picked up 2 points in their last 3 matches, most recently drawing 2-2 at home to Great Wakering Rovers.
Billy Holland will sit this one out suspended and Jordan Blackwell is awaiting a scan, otherwise Mark has a full squad to chose from.
The Bar and Kitchens will be open from 1:30pm
Kick Off is 3pm
See you there…..
