Fancy donning that famous Yellow shirt?

At AFC Sudbury we continue to lead the way with a proven pathway to our women's tier 4 team. On Tuesday, no fewer than 11 graduates or current Academy students featured in Luke Mallett’s first team squad that defeated Cambridge City 2-1 in the FA Women’s National League.

For the 2024/25 season we will be forming another new group of U14s that will compete in the Junior Premier League (JPL). The JPL provides a highly competitive weekly games programme unrivalled by any other league.

Over the past two seasons our current U15 & U16s have benefited from the challenge of playing competitive games and this season our U15’s have reached the JPL National Cup Final set to be played in early May.

In addition, our newly formed U14 team for this season will continue to develop at U15 for the 2024/25 season

This forms an excellent early introduction into the unique environment of our female pathway, leading into our highly acclaimed AFC Sudbury Academy, offering full-time post-16 football & education.

Our Youth Development Programme teams pathway is overseen by our Academy Manager, Craig Power & Head of Girls Academy Football, Darren Scoulding.

For those interested players for next season’s new U14’s team, trial dates are as follows,

Tuesday 30th April & Wednesday 8th May, 5.45pm - 7.15pm.
