Ok so i've had my arm bent backwards and taken on the role of webmaster
As your new webmaster i'll not be able to promise you promotion although i'll do my best to generate that feel good factor that might tip us over the edge. I've lived around the Sudbury area for over 5 years now. A Crystal Palace fan from a very early age ( i could see the floodlights from my bedroom window.. what's a boy to do? ) I have taken AFC Sudbury to heart and they are now my 2nd footballing passion. As i am currently going through a divorce unfortunately that's the only passion i am getting these days but beggars can't be choosers and when you see Panashe Mundawarara lash in a rocket against Colchester as he did last night, well, who needs anything more than that.
I have recently started taking photos at our matches as a back up to ace footy snapper Clive Pearson, so if you see a slightly balding guy with bright yellow football boots walking around the pitch perimeter, holding a stupidly big camera and looking like he doesn't quite know what he's doing.. chances are that's me.
I have a bit of a football background having designed the once famous Kick Off and Player Manager football games from the late 80's early 90's. I have actually spent over 30 years largely making football games, i still do in fact. I worked on Championship manager for 6 years and I am currently working on a title called 'Back of the Net' which will be released next year for iPhone, Android, Switch, Xbox, PC, Playstation etc etc etc
During my time in the industry i've worked with a few famous and some not so famous footballers and managers. Sir Alex Fergusson, Kevin Keegan and Graham Taylor have all worked with me ( hey it sounds better that way around ) as had ex Sudbury player Adam Tann who i worked with while he was at Cambridge United. I am sure he is glad i don't have any pictures of him in a black leotard covered in white ping pong balls ( or so he thinks )
Anyway this is me, feel free to drop me a message or stop me at a game if you've any ideas or just want to say hi or infact if you are an eligible ( or ineligible actually, i'm not fussy ) female who's life ambition is to date a 50+ football gaming guru. Oh i can also be found playing football most Wednesdays down at AFC between 7 & 8pm wielding my infamous cut back skill and the occasional nutmeg. Definitely worth seeing x
