As a reward for leading by example in training with a great attitude and desire to learn, Thomas was named as club captain for our opening game. He was a worthy candidate who lead by example throughout the whole game, earning him the “Man Of the Match” trophy this week, but it was very close between him and 2 of the other new boys, Brooke and Oliver who played exceptionally well too.

Massive thank you to all the boys, Leo, Kray, Jude, Charlie and Max who kept going throughout the game and not letting their heads drop even though we conceded one or two goals, but we did manage to get on the score sheet with nice link up play between Jude and Max, where Jude split their defence with a great pass and Max picking up the ball and placing in the bottom corner.

I have no doubt you boys will get better and better as the season progresses.
