Working Pattern: Full time (37.5 hours a week)

Academy History:
Since the launch of our Academy in 2016 the success of the programme has gone from strength to strength. Last season the Academy reached no fewer than three national cup finals. More importantly six students achieved scholarships to America with many others progressing to UK universities.
The Academy Today:
The Academy today has ninety students (male & female) ranging in age from (16-19 years). Our students are taught together, coached together and play together. This may seem common practice within this sector, but many programmes don’t follow this structure.
Job Role:
This is a key role within our Academy as you will continue to enhance the learning environment enabling each student to achieve their maximum potential, inspiring the students to remain lifelong learners and linking the curriculum to the individual sporting contexts.
Job Purpose:
To deliver the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity to both our first year & second year students via daily high-quality lessons that meet the learning outcomes per unit. The role will involve planning, delivering and marking of your classes work and structured feedback to each student to ensure academic progress.
About You:
The ideal candidate for the role will have previous experience of working with students aged 16-19 and the ability to connect with and motivate young adults is vital. An effective communicator who enjoys working as part of a team to ensure the holistic development of each student.

Person Specification – Essential
Relevant degree (Sports coaching, Sports science)
Level 3 award in education & training
