AFC Sudbury progressed to the 2nd Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup with a super win over higher League Royston Town at the MEL Group Stadium.

Vance Bola drew the visitors level again on 55 minutes but on 66 minutes AFC took the lead for a 3rd and decisive time when Paul Hayes scored with a sublime chip following a corner by Harrison.

Meanwhile, the Reserves also won, this time a convincing 6-0 performance at Felixstowe & Walton United Reserves to move up to 4th in the Thurlow Nunn First Division Table and remain the only unbeaten side in the division after 6 matches.
