Two more of our club members worthy of the title “Unsung Heroes"

John Crosbie & Laura Maxim two more unsung heroes at AFC Sudbury, there are not many jobs or roles that John and Laura have not held at AFC Sudbury. As part of the Crosbie dynasty John was introduced to non league football in Sudbury as soon as he could walk, since then he has hardly missed a game, traveling all over the country supporting the club in league and cup runs. Always one of our more vocal supporters John has always enjoyed himself as Ball Boy, Mascot, Cheerleader, Flag Waver, Drummer, Siren Operator and Pie taster, Laura on the other hand is the quieter one of this partnership but just as passionate about the club, she was also introduced to football at an early age by her father who is also a regular supporter

John is Chairman of the supporters club and ably assisted with the minute taking and organising by Laura, over the years they have helped raise thousands of pounds for the club. These two are ever-present volunteers at the club, on match days Laura selling the Golden Goal tickets, running the club shop, while John is busy running the tea bar, stewarding and cheering the team on.
