Good Event

UPDATED

This was a well attended event, helped by the England v Panama World Cup tie being shown on the giant screen later in the day.

There were many items on show including a number of AFC shirts resplendent with the various sponsors on.

There were of course items from both Sudbury Town and Sudbury Wanderers, the clubs that merged to form AFC.

Darren Witt and Ben Davies were proud to show off living items, ie their tattoos from their Sudbury Town days.

It was an event that is sure to be repeated in the not too distant future.

AFC Sudbury invites you to a MEMORABILIA DAY on Sunday 24th June from 11.00am onwards.

Bring along all of your memorabilia from Sudbury Town, Sudbury Wanderers and AFC Sudbury and rekindle some old memories.

The club would like to display some pieces (with your agreement) in the clubhouse to make it look like the home of a proper football club.

Let’s make sure that when supporters and visitors alike come to the club that they remember that they are visiting a club with a long and successful history.

On that day England are playing their second World Cup game against Panama with a 1.00pm kick off. The club will be showing the whole match on a big screen so please come along and make a day of it.

Food and drinks will of course be available.
