It was a great start to the season for AFC Sudbury's First Team as they ran out 4-0 winners away to Tilbury on the opening day. Scorers for AFC were Billy Holland, Phil Kelly, Callum Harrison and Darryl Coakley.

At the King's Marsh Stadium the Reserves came from behind to beat Norwich CBS 3-2 in an entertaining fixture. Ross Crane and brace from Charlie Gilbert saw the Reserves to their first win of the season.

Meanwhile on the grass pitch at AFC, the 'A' Team defeated Wormingford Wanderers Reserves 5-1.
